Tommaso Gazzarri, professor of classics, published an article titled "A Conjecture on Seneca Ot. 2.2" in the international journal Maia (Issue 24.3, 2025).
Professor Deidre Hill Butler, chair of the sociology department, taught seminars in the Disruption in Society UCALL Series on April 2 and April 16. The sessions focused on current 21st-century social justice changes, from George Floyd to Donald Trump's election. UCALL is the Union College Academy for Lifelong Learning initiative. Its mission is to provide opportunities for intellectual development, cultural stimulation, and social interaction for adults through courses, excursions, and special events.
